Gravity (Geophysics) - Is a geophysical method which is based on Newton's Law of Gravitiation (F=G{{m_1m_2}{r^2}}), which stipulates that two mass points will exert an attractive force on each other. This idea implies that an orebody, which embodies a greater mass than it’s surrounding host rock, should therefore produce a larger attractive force than the background, ergo producing a distinctive signature.
